Q: Do I have to pay for the booking upfront?
A: Yes, we charge the full amount upfront because we have to pay our vendors for all the supplies ahead of the time.
Q: Is my event refundable?
A: No. Once you book your Igloo picnic with us , it becomes non-refundable. You can, however, reschedule for another time in the future if for some reason you can’t make your original appointment.
Q: What is your weather cancellation policy / rain date?
A: We don’t normally cancel due to weather. Our Igloo is waterproof and it is an extra special experience to picnic in the rain. Frigid weather is also not an issue as the Igloo has a space heater and we provide weighed heated blankets so you can bundle up and stay warm during your experience. We would reschedule only in the event of extreme weather conditions like heavy rains and winds or stormy weather.
Q: Do you provide alcohol with the picnic experience?
A: We don’t have a liquor license at the moment and we are unable to provide any alcohol due to legalities. We, however, provide you with wine glasses or flutes so you can bring your own alcohol to your party. This applies to both packages we currently offer.
Q: Is your tent and entire equipment washed and sanitized in between events?
A: Yes, we wash and sanitize everything after each use to comply with the CDC Rules and guidelines.
Q: How do I make sure that everything has been sanitized when another group of people used the same equipment in the same day before my reservation?
A: As of right now, our booking calendar only allows you to book 1 event per day, so we have enough time between events to wash and sanitize everything.
Q: Is the tip included in the price?
A: No. Our part-time drivers use their own gas to come to you and spend the time to set up your event and then drive back to your home to break everything apart. We pay them a standard flat rate per picnic. While tips are optional, we encourage you to tip at your own discretion.
Q: Who are the local businesses we would support by booking a Picnic experience with Posh - Nosh Picnics?
A: We have gathered a group of amazing local charcuterie makers we will be featuring monthly. Their fliers or business cards will be included with your picnic so you know who’s food you’re consuming and if you liked them , we hope you will frequent that business in the future. This way you support at least 2 or more business with your single Igloo experience.
